Uzbekistan is a most wonderful country on the Silk Road in Central Asia. Without a doubt, the most populous and fascinating republic is the one with the greatest tourist attraction among the Central Asian republics.
If today the traveler discovers perhaps with a surprise that Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, is a modern and pleasant metropolis of more than two million inhabitants, at the same time also finds on this trip the ancient and wonderful cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. Just mentioning names these cities will bring you images of beautiful legends, reflections of turquoise blue and caravans loaded with enigmatic merchandise that ran in slow walking through the Silk Road.Day 1:Urgench - arrival
Departure by regular flight to Urgench. Meeting the group at the airport. Upon arrival, we go to Khiva by car/bus (30 km). Breakfast. Time to rest.
Lunch. We will begin with the visit of the Ichan-Kala architectural complex: Kalta Minor, Kunya Ark Castle, Mohammed Rahim Khan Madrasa, Islom Khodja Madrasa and Madrasa, Tash Hovli Architectural Complex, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Mosque, Madrasa Allikulikhan. Dinner at local guest house with cooking master class “Shivit Oshi.” Shivit oshi – lagman on dill infusion, is a national dish of Khorezm (originally Khiva) cuisine. A real Shivit Osh or "lagman in Khorezm" is bright green noodles with dill, white sour—milk sauce, and vaju sauce from vegetables with meat. This is a kind of quintessence of green pasta carbonara or tagliatelle. The recipe of this ancient dish became known in Uzbekistan thanks to the Khiva chef Rajab Sattarov, who moved to Tashkent in 1958.The noodles, skillfully prepared by hand, are surprising, which acquires a greenish color due to the juice of dill. Cold green pasta is served with white suzma sauce, topped with hot meat sauce vaju. This dish is prepared mainly in summer. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2:Urgench - Bukhara

Early morning departure by road to Bukhara through the Kizil Kum desert. On the way make a stop to see the Amudarya river. Lunch boxes on the way from Khiva. Bukhara served as the capital of the Samanid Empire, Khanate of Bukhara, and Emirate of Bukhara. It was the birthplace of the scholars Imam Bukhari and Ibn Sino The city has been known as "Noble Bukhara" and it has about 140 architectural monuments. UNESCO has listed the historic center of Bukhara as a World Heritage Site. Arrival to Bukhara, check-in to the hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.Day 3:Bukhara

City tour in Bukhara: visit of the Mausoleum of the Samani, the holy Chashmai Ayub Spring, the Bolo Hauz Mosque, the Ark Citadel. Lunch. In the afternoon we will continue visiting the Kalyan Minaret and the Poi Kalyan Mosque, the Miri Arab Madrasa, the Toki Zargaron Dome, the Ulughbek and Abdullazizkan Madrasas, the Toki Telpak Furushon Dome, the Magoki Attory Mosque, the Toki Sarafon Dome, the Lyabi Architectural Complex Hauz, and the set of two madrasas and a Khanaka, Chor Minor. Evening fashion show at Nadir Divan Begi medresse. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.Day 4:Bukhara - Samarkand

The second day in Bukhara will begin with a trip outside the city to the summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara, Sitorai Mokhi -Khosa. The unique building combines the traditions of Oriental architecture and the motifs of Russian architecture. Lunch. Transfer to the train station. Bukhara – Samarkand train at 15:46 – 17:28. Arrival in Samarkand. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.Day 5:Samarkand - Tashkent

We will make an excursion through the city: Registan Square: Ulugbek Madrasa, Shir-Dor Madrasa, Tilla-Kori Madrasa, Guri Emir Mausoleum (Tamerlane tomb), Bibi-Khonum Mosque and Siab Bazaar. Continue visiting: Necropolis Shakhi Zinda, Ulugbek observatory, Afrosiab museum. In the evening transfer to the railway station. Samarkand-Tashkent train at 17:58 – 20:08. Arrival in Tashkent. Sightseeing tour around old Tashkent: Barak-Khan Madrasah. The Kaffal-Shashi mausoleum, Kukeldash Madrasah, the Djuma mosque. Lunch. Sightseeing tour around modern Tashkent: Independence Square, Navoi Theater square, Museum of Applied Arts, Amir Temur square, Tashkent National Arts Centre, local "Broadway" - a walking street with artists, city fountains and modern monuments. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 :Tashkent - Home country
Breakfast at the hotel.
